Dr. Andreas Reimann
Andreas Reimann is a healthcare professional and a social entrepreneur in the fields of patient-oriented healthcare and inclusive education. He has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare and 15 years of experience in the area of rare diseases.
Andreas started his career as a pharmacist, complemented by a PhD in Pharmacology and an MBA. He spent 4 years of academic research in pharmacology and more than 7 years in the pharmaceutical industry (clinical research, international marketing, drug information). For 12 years, he worked in patient organizations and was chief executive officer of Mukoviszidose e.V., the German Cystic Fibrosis Association, and its professional affiliate for clinical research and quality management, Mukoviszidose Institut GmbH. He was serving as a patient-representative at the Federal Joint Committee (G-BA), the central steering body in the German healthcare system. In addition, Andreas held multiple volunteer positions at national and European level, is author of publications and lectures on patient-orientation in healthcare.
In 2015 Andreas set up admedicum® Business for Patients, helping companies and healthcare providers making their products and services truly patient-centered. He consults on patient-access and patient-engagement in healthcare and helps pharma and medtech companies understanding patient-needs across the life-cycle of the product from research and development over market-access to commercialization.
