Rainer Lindemaier is a Healthcare expert with over 25 years of experience in Healthcare-IT markets in US, Europe and especially D-A-CH region. He has deep knowledge about digital transformation of HC processes, integrating complex HC-IT solutions and adapting associated workflows.

Rainer is the founder of Aachener Medizin Systemberatung AMS GmbH, focusing on strategic IT consulting and operational support for running HC-IT projects and medical technology projects. The customer base of AMS, founded in 2011, includes hospitals, hospital chains, and social insurances in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Over the last 11 Years, he is involved in eHealth projects in Germany (IHE affinity domains) and Austria (e.g.: ELGA for AUVA, SALK) and IT migration projects (exchange of Hospital information systems (HIS), RIS, LIS, PACS, PDMS, …). The primary focus lays on supporting projects for digital transformation of healthcare processes.

Due to his expertise around medical device regulations, Rainer is an expert for risk management for IT-networks incorporating medical devices (DIN EN 80001-1:2011, IEC 80001-1:2021). He is assisting the HC organizations in building up effective risk management processes strongly integrated with the governance of the HC organization.
