Prof. Dr. Clarissa Kurscheid
Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Clarissa Kurscheid is a health economist. After completing her training as a physiotherapist, she studied business administration and health economics at the University of Cologne, where she also completed her doctorate at the Chair of Social Policy. She is the managing director of figus GmbH, a private research institute for healthcare and system design. Until 2024, in addition to her work at the institute, she was working at various universities, including serving as President of the EUFH University of Health, Social Affairs, and Education from 2021 to 2024.
At her institute, she has been engaged in the field of healthcare research for many years, focusing on the design and development of care concepts and processes. Clarissa also provides strategic advice to medical networks and associations within the healthcare sector.
