Markus is a technology & business strategy consultant and IMD IECC Executive coach. He has a broad technical and business background, with profound experience in healthtech, diagnostics, and digital health. His interest is in advancing organizations, to initiate and foster change with a positive impact on individuals and teams. Main focus is on supporting production focused medtech companies to set up and optimize production processes, build the optimum organizational structure and create excellence by design.

Markus held assignments as Head of R&D, Chief Technologist and Technology Scout at various companies including AT&S, Microsystems Technologies AG, Dyconex, Biolab, Motorola and IBM. He is co-founder and General Manager of multiple startups.

Markus has a PhD in Chemistry, an engineering degree in Chemical Technology (FH), holds over 30 patents and has published more than 30 technical papers.  As active business angel he serves as mentor and coach for multiple startups. He is a seasoned reviewer and Innovation Expert for the European commission and supervisory and strategy board member of Fraunhofer institutes and Joanneum Research, Austria. He was awarded two prizes for innovation and entrepreneurship.
