Georg Wehrens, with more than 20 years of international CFO/Finance Leadership experience in MedTech, is a professional interim and project manager. He covers interim roles as CFO, Head of Group Controlling, Finance Director or Senior Project Manager (certified IPMA Level B) for Corporates and SMEs, typically supporting phases of growth, internationalization and/or transformation in a complex (production-) environment.
Projects focus on business strategy, change management/restructuring, M&A/Due Diligence/Carve-out, Post-Merger-Integration, process optimization with ERP/SW- implementation and global strategic procurement from raw materials to financial services. Georg’s core competencies include intercultural communication, effective stakeholder management, quick comprehension, team building and leadership skills as well as entrepreneurial and analytical thinking.
He speaks English, French and Spanish fluently.
Following his studies of business administration (ebs) in Wiesbaden, Paris/F and Phoenix/USA, Georg has a longstanding track-record from his MedTech career in Finance, Controlling, Senior Project Management and Procurement with FRESENIUS MEDICAL CARE (from its foundation 1996 through the DAX membership until 2003), SORIN GROUP (from stock-listing 2004 to PE-exit 2015) and LIVANOVA (from NASDAQ listing 2015 until 2019).
Furthermore, Georg has – since December 2019 – completed more than 50 conflict cases, working as independent certified mediator.
