After more than 20 years of R&D/industrialization in Orthopedic and Spinal devices, Richard Minfelde, graduated in Strategical Management & PhD, created Bpath in 2012 to meet the needs of MD manufacturers and project developers in regulatory and technical fields. He supports Clients in producing technical data in response to new regulatory requirements, within which risk management plays a central role.

Richard Minfelde has in the past headed up the Research and Development/Industrialization departments at Zimmer Spine and Medtronic Sofamor Danek and was responsible for the creation or commercial launch of numerous spinal devices.

Recent deliveries by Bpath have resulted in, among other things, the CE accreditation of a cervical disc prosthesis, the adoption by several orthopedic implant manufacturers of innovative solutions to their previously unresolved design problems, the restoration and maintenance of CE certification following the definition and implementation of remedial actions, and finally the obtention of the MDR certification for its Clients.
