Markus Wild brings over 35 years of experience in strategic user-centered design to support companies and startups in the medical technology, pharmaceutical, laboratory technology and home healthcare sectors. Today he works as a freelance strategy consultant and business angel, with a particular focus on combining technological innovations, sustainable approaches and user needs.

Previously, Markus was founder and managing director for over three decades of the WILDDESIGN Group, an international design consultancy focusing on medical technology. Under his leadership, the company developed into a leading provider of strategic design solutions for the healthcare industry. In addition to global market leaders such as Boehringer Ingelheim, Sanofi, B.Braun Aesculap, Getinge Maquet, Löwenstein Medical, he also supported numerous medtech startups in the development of innovative products.

Markus continues to support the WILDDESIGN Group as a strategic consultant to assist key projects and the management team. His work is characterized by the combination of regulatory requirements, user orientation and sustainable strategies.

His career began after studying industrial design at the Folkwang University in Essen. After a year in the Siemens design department in Munich, he set up his own business and focused on medical technology from 1995. With milestones such as the first wrist blood pressure monitor for Paul Hartmann AG, he laid the foundation for his specialization early on.

Markus has a strong network of specialized development partners in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and China, which he has built up over decades. He is currently working on founding innoQuo GmbH, which will promote innovative and sustainable design solutions. A dedicated website will go online shortly.
