Markus Wild is the founder of innoQuo GmbH, a strategic design advisory that helps companies and startups unlock their next stage of innovation. As a design strategist and business angel, he combines 35 years of experience in user-centered design and business leadership to support organizations in the medical technology, life sciences and healthcare sectors. His mission: to align technological innovation & design with human needs and sustainable impact.

As a former founder and long-time CEO of WILDDESIGN, Markus helped shape the medtech design landscape. Under his leadership, the company became a trusted partner for global players like Boehringer Ingelheim, B. Braun Aesculap, Sanofi, Maquet Getinge, and Löwenstein Medical, as well as for a wide range of medtech startups. 

At innoQuo, Markus now focuses on early-stage strategy, design leadership and circular innovation. He acts as a sparring partner for founders, innovation teams and boards – especially where product design, usability, and regulatory strategy meet. His current activities range from design coaching for startups to leading expert groups in Circular Economy innovation consortia.

Markus studied industrial design at the renowned Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and began his career at Siemens Design in Munich. Since 1995, he has specialized in the healthcare field, contributing to early innovations like the first wrist blood pressure monitor for Hartmann.

His international network spans Germany, Austria, Switzerland and China – connecting design, engineering, and regulatory experts across borders. As a business angel, Markus selectively supports technology-driven startups that understand the strategic value of design.

For him, design is not an add-on – it's a core discipline for building the future.
