Birgit Janning is a life sciences professional and holds a PhD from Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, Germany. She is a commercially oriented expert in MedTech, Pharma and Medical Skin Care, with more than 25 years of industry experience.

Birgit served as EU Guest Scientist in infectious diseases/medical microbiology, before she entered the medical device and pharmaceutical industry. Her industrial career started at 3M Healthcare in an international Clinical Research position, followed by leading roles in Medical Education and Training. Her subsequent professional appointments covered positions in Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing and Communication. This refers to national as well as international responsibilities in e.g. chronic diseases, pain management, orthopedics, dermatooncology. Key strengths: launch and implementation of new therapies, prevention programs and related communication as well as the conception and performance of educational events, serial workshop and hands-on trainings. 

Birgit offers support for healthcare players itending to set up new therapy/prevention concepts in EU countries, with focus on strategy, project management and operative implementation. She is fluent in Dutch, English and German.
