Ana Fortunat is a Product and UX Design Strategist specializing in digital health, MedTech, and healthcare software. She helps organizations turn complex products, workflows, and technical requirements into digital experiences that are intuitive, efficient, and easier to adopt.

Her work focuses on the usability challenges that are particularly critical in healthcare environments: reducing cognitive load, shortening onboarding and training time, improving task completion speed, minimizing avoidable user errors, and enabling users to perform complex workflows with greater confidence and efficiency.

Ana works across the product development lifecycle, from discovery and user research through information architecture, workflow design, prototyping, usability testing, interaction design, and design systems. She translates user needs, business objectives, technical constraints, and regulatory considerations into clear product decisions, with a particular focus on making complex and safety-critical systems usable in real-world contexts.

Throughout her career, she has worked with large international healthcare and MedTech organizations, established technology companies, scale-ups, and early-stage ventures. This has given her experience working both within complex corporate environments and with teams building new products from the ground up.

As Founder and Managing Director of heylo, Ana works closely with product, engineering, clinical, and business stakeholders as both a strategic partner and hands-on design lead. Her strength lies in connecting strategy with execution and ensuring that usability is treated not simply as a design quality, but as a driver of product adoption, operational efficiency, user confidence, and ultimately better product performance.

Ana holds a degree in Industrial Design and a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship.
