Healthcare Shapers interviews with some of our partners
The network of the Healthcare Shapers spans a wide range of partners with deep and profound expertise in healthcare — just as wide as the entire healthcare ecosystem. Aiming to portrait this breadth, we started a series of interviews. All in German language.
Christian Milaster, an expert on telemedicine who worked for 17 years in the US, some of those at the Mayo Clinic, speaks about digitization and compares healthcare in the US and in Germany. https://vimeo.com/168482847
Ralf Jahns talks about apps and mobile health and explains why pharma companies or payor organizations are not best positioned to publish apps. https://vimeo.com/170158148

CAPITAL nominated Hidden Champions of Consulting
The entry barriers into this competition are high and so we are very proud that CAPITAL, one of the leading German business magazines, nominated INFRONT CONSULTING as a hidden champion in consulting in the category of digitalization.
469 managers were asked who are the best consultants. In order to qualify as a hidden champion, the reputation of a consultant needed to be higher than that of McKinsey, BCG or Roland Berger.
Joerg Heydecke one of the founders and a member of the Healthcare Shapers is a creative analyst and entrepreneurially minded businessman. INFRONT and the Healthcare Shapers have developed an approach that identifies the opportunities of digitalization in healthcare.

Going Live: Implementation of Disclosure Code
The countdown is running. Pharmaceutical companies in Germany are now implementing the EFPIA (European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Association’s) voluntary code on disclosure of transfer of value. The disclosure code is an answer to the general trend towards greater transparency that has swept across public and corporate life. Role model for the code is the US Sunshine Act.
In January companies have started the collection of all information on payments to individual physicians and are going to publish the data from 2016 onwards. More information on implementation of Disclosure Code can be found at www.pharma-transparenz.de.
Companies are now working on implementing systems and cross-national processes to collect the data completely without any duplication. This is a complex process with the challenge of ensuring the disclosure of the accurate data, since thousands of transactions have to be monitored and consolidated, also on multinational level.
Our Healthcare Shapers member Angela Schremmer has developed a software to support companies in implementing the Disclosure Code. See more on her video.
